As much as I love reading about Destiny, Fate, or being Chosen by the gods, it's not what I write. My characters aren't demigods or mythological heroes. They're ordinary people in extraordinary situations, and how they react is what I find compelling.
Bio
Born in 1979, I have witnessed everything from my childhood be remade and reinvented twice. My Saturday morning cartoons, science fiction franchises, comic books. All the stuff that used to get a kid picked-on is now mainstream, which is a weird feeling for a guy who never did anything conventional. At 15, I left home. At 21 I joined the Navy. At 34, I moved to China to teach English as a Second Language. From washing dishes to semiconductor wafer fabrication, swinging a hammer to designing curriculum, GED to Bachelor’s degree, I’ve remade myself from scratch a few times, too, just like the cartoons from my childhood.
